As I was logging on, I noticed the newest member of THR, Gary Brommeland. If you're not familiar with Gary's leatherwork, you should check out his website! www.brommelandgunleather.com

(that's me on his homepage :D )

Thanks for the welcome, guys! BTW, I wasn't really sure that I should put a picture of a guys butt on my home page( that sort of thing could easily be misinterpeted .:D )
However, it is the only way that I could really show off just how concealable the Max-Con V holster is. Thanks again for the welcome!

I too am waiting for a holster and magazine holster for my kimber compact from Gary. I think the setup is going to be sweet. Hopefully he will get those gun forms for sigs. :D I have several I need holsters for. :D

Guys and Gals,

I don't own any of Mr. Brommeland's holsters yet. But I did contact him several months ago, and asked him for pictures of his holsters (before his web debut). Since Mr. Brommeland didn't have any pictures available, he offered to build me a holster and send it to me free of charge for evaluation. If I didn't like it he said to send it back and pay nothing. If I liked it, we could figure something out for the payment.

I don't know about you guys, but to me that is honest, professional service. I couldn't take Mr. Brommeland up on his offer, because I don't have my gun here to give it a good evaluation, but I will be making a purchase soon from him.

Come on WildAlaska, if you afford Galco's you can afford Gary's holsters. I have three of Gary's holsters with another one on the way. I have sold or are selling all of my other name holsters after trying the Brommelands. They are just about the most functional holsters I have tryed for what they are intended for, concealing your weapon. When my brick handled ParaOrd P14.45 disappeared on me, I knew I bought a great holster.

Slydlok, Wildalaska is reffering to this thread here http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?s=&postid=456022#post456022 Where MR Brommeland seems to indicate that many of us arent good enough to buy his gear.

Mr. Brommeland,

Can you add a bit o' shark skin to the mouth of one of your IWB for a bit extra?

c_yeager and wildalaska:

I think the "wannabe" remark was justifiable given the context and circumstances under which it was made. Thank goodness not every vendor has gone the WalMart route and encouraged bad behavior by consumers. The man (Mr. Brommeland) had a right to defend his integrity and ought to be allowed a little leeway in his remarks during his initial fit of righteous indignation. I appreciate someone who believes in what he does and takes it serious enough to expect others to appreciate his work beyond the point of whether or not he is the lowest bidder.

All the best,

g_gunter

A new customer of Mr. Brommeland's (puchaser of the Max Con III for a Glock 19).

Buy what you want, he wont sell one to me, nor anyone I know....

And as we sell hundreds of 45s and as there are lots of good or better holstermakers with better attitudes that we can either stock or reccomend, his loss not mine...
