This rifle is available in US, if you have $8000 to part off.

I got to handle one at SHOT show.
It seemed like an interesting rifle. Then I asked how much it costed. Holy crap! We are talking serious bank.
It was very solid. Very heavy. Bolt manipulation was a little different due to the configuration, not bad though. It had a really cool bipod that was mounted on top of the frame so that the rifle hung under it. Other than that I don't remember much else about it.

Cor, I don't know how they did the linkage, but the trigger was actually pretty darn good. Clean, light.
As you are aware of what I'm working on, you can understand why I was so interested in it! :) (but for $8,000 it damn well better have a trigger, and do dishes).

In regards to the police pic:
Why is that odd, and/or give you a 'JBT Feel'?
Police not allowed access to these weapons, only civilians now? :)
This is partially tongue in cheek, but seriously, people here seem to get all worked up over seeing an armored and well armed cop. Why? Just because they look a certain way, doesn't mean they're looking for the next Waco or Ruby Ridge.
Don't judge a book by it's cover and all that. I think LAPD has proven many times (BoA full auto Robbery) that sometimes police do need to go 'tactical'.
