A Generic Colt< Armscor >

Hey I was cruising the shops and saw what I thought was a 3" Colt Diamondback 38 Special. It turned out to be a Armscor 38 Special. I will say that it really looked good! It had finger groove grips, adjustable sights, deep blueing, a target hammer, transfer bar safety, 6 shots and a $168.00 price tag. Does anybody know more about these pistols? Is Armscor the Rock Island Armory manufacturer? Are these PI pistols? It looked like a great deal for the money.

Did some searching. Found the website and they DO look like Colts.

No one is talking about them except as part of crimes in the PI, so it looks like Josey gets to be the ginuea pig :D

Hey Won't be me. A grandmother bought it before I got back to the dealer. He said it seemed solid on lock-up. If I find another, who knows?
