Hey Looking at the CZ75 in 22. Anyone have any experience with these?

Yep.
Very nice.- all steel and fairly well made - you could do far worse for value.
I picked up a Kadet .22cal upper assy. for my 9mm CZ75b, which IMHO is the way to go.
Total cost for the 75b and the Kadet conversion was ~ $575.00.
I don't believe it's possible to go the other way and get a 9mm upper for the dedicated Kadet .22.

People who shoot them a while sell their Rugers and other 22 lr pistols.
Typically they are one of the most accurate 22's youll ever shoot.......
Cheap practice as you have the same platform as your bigger gun also...
I should have bought one years ago.....Shoot well

Hi Josey,
I’ve got my .22 Conversion Kit CZ 75 Cadet by mail (to go with CZ 85 Combat). It worked most of the time, one or two cartage’s every magazine required second trigger squeeze (DA is great invention). With the time I’ve decided to eliminate “problem”. “Blunt, round tapered point” of the firing pin was striking rim to far from the edge (to low when you look from the side).
Yes I’d corrected fault (very challenging job) and never had to “double tap” again.
Guess I was not lucky when buying.
Best, safest, last expensive way to buy one, is - install one to your frame, - insert spent case (ideally, best would be with round firing pin mark) and dry fire, - examine both firing pin marks and if new mark is as far from center or more, as old mark is, it is conversion you wish to buy.
Personally, CZ 75/85/Cadet are very good guns, and if you are unlucky, you have chance to work it out.
Unfortunately my "love" will be "bought back" from me and crushed (what a waste).
Thanks, Chez.

Chez,

We'll mourn the loss of your CZ. I'll fire a few mags in remembrance.

Just remember, tho. Your government says you'll be SAFER if YOUR gun is destroyed. You'll be able to rest easy at night, won't you?

(some sarcasm there. I know it must really chap your hide that the nanny gubmint is doing what it's doing...)

I agree with everything Hal said. I absolutely love my Kadet and highly recommend it, but get the 9mm first and add the .22 later. You can't go the other way.

Chez, I'll go shoot my '75B this weekend out of respect for it's Australian bretheren. :(

My CZ .22 Kadet Kit goes with me to every range session. I use it on both my CZ-75B and CZ-75 PCR compact. It is my favorite .22 now and I have a bunch including three Ruger MK II's, and a Benelli MP-95E. While not as accurate as the Benelli, it hangs in there with all my Rugers, even the tuned one.
