Anyone have any experience with the little clip thing (screws to weapon)that holds the airweights in your pants without a holster?

IIRC, they don't screw onto J frames and require the use of tape. That's why I have never tried one.

Plenty of people love them though.

Interesting, for some reason I thought they were taped on the J frame..

Still sucks for me because in Ohio the gun has to be in a holster :banghead:

There is a version of the Clipdraw for the screws which is gun / model specific.

There is another version of the Clipdraw that is "universal" and uses a form of double stick tape.

I ran the S&W J-Frame specific one on my M&P340 for a month or so and liked it ALOT.

In the end I ended up switching to the Fist #1KD in leather which I like more than any other holster.

Haven't tried the Clipdraw, but my 442 has a Barami hip-grip. I like it.
