The older Simmons were good scopes for the $$. But the newer Meade Optics don't measure up!
The original .22 MAG 3x9x32 AO was a winner for a rinfire scope @ $118.00
The Meade Optics version Simmons .22 MAG MATER SERIES is a cheap imitation @ $59ish!
If you're looking for an e-mail relationship with Simmons by all means grab one...Otherwise avoid!

well i have to tell ya.i have 5,only ONE i never had to send back, and thats the old white tail, streight 4 power,i have a 2x7, that went back once,
I bought the New redesigned, master series,in 3x9,Well one broke loose in side after 10 shots or less out of a 223 T/C.The other i had on my 280,and dint get a chance to shoot it untill this spring,What a piece of crap,I had that rifle into the gunsmith i thought something was wrong with my 280,did all the screws, all the loads that would shoot 1/2,now are like 7 in or bigger,But I know now its the scope,Ill never buy another Simmons anything,
My shots would be all over the paper. then i get a nice 1/2 group.but it may be 6 in left.then i get shots all over the paper.then it would group high, nice group, but its never in the same place twice,
so its scope,I;ll yank that off and put my Bushnel on it.
