step by step shoulder bumping

ok what steps do I take to bump the shoulder on my once fired brass back a few thousanths . I have a rcbs rock chucker press. Standard rcbs fl sizing dies. I basically want to not completly full length size. I also have a rcbs precision mic gauge.

ohw,
You simply measure a fired case (fired in the rifle you are loading for) in your RCBS Precision Mic and note the measurement, then with your FL die not screwed all the way down into your press, you run your test case into the die, measure it, screw the die down further, run the test case thru the die, measure it, and keep doing this until your shoulder is where you want it. Then lock your die in place.

and this process correctly sizes the neck right?

Correct, but I might add that when setting up the die for the proper setback, it's easier if you remove the decapping stem while testing the depth of the seating die in the press. When you get the proper amount of shoulder setback, then replace the decapping stem and recheck your sized case in the Precision Mic.
