I was in a gun store today and they had one in the case. I`ve been thinking of going to a DAO in .45 for winter carry. I`m very familiar with 1911`s even though I`m left handed. My 2 Browning`s have ambi safeties. I have no problem either way but I think I`d like to get away from manual safeties in a large caliber.

Wow is that trigger pull light!:uhoh: Does anyone carry one with the safety off? I was really thinking of a Sig P245 but they didn`t have one I could look at.

yeah i carry my lda745 with the safety off, but it's not by choice... the holster its in knocks the saftey off as soon as you snap the backstrap....

the trigger pull is great, granted it's probally illeagal to have a da pull that light in PRK, or PRM....

you could carry uncocked, but you'd have to rack the slide to shoot.... as long as the holster you use is made of strong leather i don't see how anything is gonna get at the trigger, even if it does you still have the grip safety...

I too was very impressed wih that DA trigger. It will be my next purchase.

I kept reading about how nice the pull was, now that I tried it, I can say everything I have ever read has been understated. It is sweet!!
