I've read where the Cree LED replacement is brighter and puts off a whiter light. Anyone have a clue whether you can replace the diode in the Surefire X200A with a Cree and what model number it would be? thanks for any input!

Drop by candlepowerforums.com for a more detailed answer, but no.

You can purchase a complete drop in lamp module, like I did, and replace the Surefire lamp module with it.

thanks for you input hso! So did you replace the lamp module in an X200, with a Cree or some other brand? just curious what your thoughts were.
