Ive got a 70's model 10/22 and a Remington 700 both blued that have seen better days.
What options do I have for a more protective finish for these two and what kind of cost if anyone has had it done before?

You can have it powder-coated,that's one of the most affordable ways to go. For everything else,check out Accurate Plating & Weaponry. (http://www.apwcogan.com/)I highly recommend anything they do. They reblued a Python for me,and it is beautiful!
