i got to use something like this at NAS-Corpus Christi. the marines have/had a FATS machine. we got to use m-16s with grenade launchers, .50s, pistols, belt feds, all kinds of weapons. they were attached to air lines that cycled the weapon like the real thing, but with less recoil. the computer counted rounds and when you were empty you had to reload. it was pretty awesome...i was in high school when we did this so ten years ago i was pretty stoked to play army

You can get this one from Cabelas for $2,000 if you have a projector, or $3,000 if you buy one. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0022706618429a&type=product&cmCat=SEARCH&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&QueryText=simulator&N=4887&Ntk=Products&Ntx=mode+matchall&Nty=1&Ntt=simulator&noImage=0

had the chance to play on one at ft. custer.
by far the coolest video game i have ever played...pretty much just as texas reb. described above, except i got a printout at the end with shots fired to hit ratios on it.

I'm not a real video gamer, however I have seen hunting games for the Nintendo Wii system. Probably much cheaper than what we are looking at here.
