So last week prior to taking a vacation, I bought two pistols:
The Taurus Night Court Judge (to be used as a snake gun for my wife)
The Springfield Milspec 1911A1 (to be my OC gun)

We took the two guns down to Utah for the 4th of July shoot, and had a wonderful time. I can shoot clay pidgeons with the Judge using 2 1/2 410 shells, and the 45LC hollow points did plenty of damage to an old computer monitor. My wife loves the grips, as well as the size; so good buy for specific purposes there.

The 1911 functions flawlessly. It locks up tight, and had zero problems with the 3 or 4 different brands of ammo we tried. Accuracy is much better than I expected (hitting pop cans at 15 yards away fairly consistently), and as it is my first 1911, I really like balance of this pistol. This will be my open carry gun, mainly in the montana back country, so I think it's a good fit.

There's my story, so far about 200 rounds through each gun and no problems. I'll do an update to this thread when both guns reach 1k.

Sounds like you got two real winners.

But, where are the pictures?
