Hi guys,

In the UK there is a charity called help for heroes, they provide help for our veterans. another uk based forum is running a charity event to raise money for the charity.

There have been some fantastic prizes donated by members, companies and other organisations. ALL of the money raised will be given to Help for Heroes to help our services personnel coming home from active service with injuries that then they carry for life. Can i ask that everyboddy lloks in at stalking directory Auction area as in the link below to see if they would like to bid. There are some fantastic prizes based mainly around stalking. (deer hunting) so if any of our american brothers wish to take a holiday hunting in the uk this might be a way. of course all prizes do not include transport to the UK!

there are still lots that have no bids, lots for muntjac stalking, roe stalking etc. this is a real good oppurtunity for some of our american cousins to visit england and hunt some of our deer that you don't get in the states and make a great contribution.

As with all wild hunting there is no guarentee of a result but in this case except for the Fallow who are influenced by the weather etc I can at least promise that you will see the animals, the rest is up to you.

A days boat hire for Trout Fishing at Loch Ruthven, 12 miles south of Inverness. This is transferable and to be taken any time within a year of the March and Shoot. All terms and conditions are available from the Donator.

you can get yourself a really good package of sporting break for a whole lot less than a comercial guide can give you in the uk. You can be safe in the knowledge that your hard earned dollars are going to the right place!!!

I'm a disabled vet about to be medically retired from the US Army (not serious enough for a purple heart I just can't perform my soldierly duties anymore) I served side by side with your heroes and I will talk to my wife and see if we can do anything for you. I'm not concerned about the prize if we are financially able to help we will.

The event is over. we raised £12000 $20000 (approx). thanks for your support. the money will go to help for heroes and help our heroes. I too am a disabled vet so the cause was very close to my heart.
