My local pusher can't find one at his distributors, so I may have to look at the big box stores - Sportsman's Warehouse, etc.

In your neck of the woods, what is the going street price for Winchester Super X3, 26" barrel, composite furniture, 3" chamber? :)

Bass pro is always way overpriced you can probably take a minimum of $50 dollars off of the bass pro price. Maybe around $75 or more.

Got one at Sportsman's Warehouse today for $839 + tax (after a $10 coupon I found on the internet). Not a killer deal, but I did not feel ripped off for a shotgun that I wanted RIGHT NOW. :)

Congratulations! Great shotgun, decent price. Hope you bought or already have lots of ammo and some range time scheduled.

As Dave McCracken says:

BA/UU/R

How about a range report? I have been eyeballing these things for awhile, and I would love to get my hands on one, but got sidetracked by a couple of Berettas, so I don't see it happening in the forseeable future.

Thank you, Snarlingiron!

I've spent the last hour taking it apart, wiping off the sticky preservative stuff, and lovingly rubbing everything with a heavily oiled rag. :)

So far, I'm very happy! The shotgun seems to fit me just right, it is very light and slender, swings nicely, and the stock and forearm are coated with some nice, soft, comfy rubberry stuff. The finish is flawlessly applied, has an eye pleasing sheen, and this metallic grey color reminds me of the old Colt ARs. I like the whimsical "W" stock insignia and the red swoosh on the receiver - nice touch.

The true test will come this weekend. I'll see where it shoots on paper tomorrow and I have 220 rounds of sporting clays scheduled on Saturday morning. After that, a very long-term reliability test to see how it stacks up against my trusty Rem 1100.

What was the meaning of that Dave McC's quote? :)
