Just for info:

I was looking through the current Beretta catalog when I came the the Neos section. They showed replacement grip frames--barrels and even slides---what is the serial numbered part???

Catalog made it seem you could change those parts at will-----wouldn't you have to go through an FFL for at least one of them???

The receiver is the serialized part. the grip frames are on piece and interchangeable. The barrel and slide also attach to the receiver.

Has anyone ever manufactured a hand gun with an adjustable grip frame?

It's not totaly adjustable, but didn't Walther build a model that you could change the backstrap to different configurations?

The Walther P99 and SIGarms SIGpro both have interchangeable backstraps.

If youl ook at Kel-Tec pistols, the 'reciever' is just a tiny bit of metal inserted into the swap-able plastic frame.
