saw one of these tonight. a tactical impact device. looks like a bunch of teeth on a surefire light. the guy said it was meant as a skull crusher. it sure looks mean. " yes officer, i can identify the man who attacked me. he looks like he's been in a fight w/ a wolverine."
pretty nasy little toy for when and were you cant tote a gun.

I carry one on a 6p surefire for that reason......I heard they make one for a 1911 that goes over the muzzle. I got mine from a local gear store, if you want some info on it, PM me

Not a skull crusher as much as a meat tenderizer.

If you do a search here, this has been discussed a few times.

One complaint is that the teeth tears pockets.

Mounting that on the end of your SureFire may be construed as illegal carrying of a baton weapon in unfriendly jurisdictions.

i have a local store that carries them ins stock. he said the same thing about pockets , but, suggested a strip of electric tape around the teeth.
i think they were about $42. is that high?

That price is about right. If you get it off the web from GG&G or Tadgear, you'll also have to pay $8 for shipping.
