½ X 28 tpi taps

Where can I purchase a ½ X 28 tpi tap? I want to make a fake suppressor out of epoxy filled PVC on my home made lathe the exact dimensions of the Gemtech I’m waiting for. I know it sounds retarded, but I honestly think it will help pass the time. ;)

J&L, Grainger, McMaster-Carr etc. Just about any industrial supply house should have it on your bench tomorrow if you order today.

Ok so incase any one does a search on this here’s where to get them.

Field Tap Supply 1800 621 8824

I picked up a ½ X 28 TPI tapered right hand tap which is standard for AR-15s and most suppressors. It cost me $8 plus $4 for shipping.

BTW: Neither Brownell’s nor Grainger had them.
