Is this going to affect Arnold's campaign?

Back in the '70's, Arnold Schwarzenegger gave a racy, no-holds-barred interview to a magazine in the Playboy stable. For a summary and direct link, see here (http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/arnoldoui1.html).
Given the sexual high-jinks and drug use he describes, and the foul language, will this "terminate" his hopes - and perhaps open the door to a more "appropriate" Republican candidate?

This alone, no, it won't torpedo him.
That's not the intent. This paves the way for the next round, probably around Monday of next week, in which Davis will reveal shocking revalations that Ahnuld is a serial sexual harasser.
:scrutiny:
This article will in retrospect make those claims more believable.

If Arnauld mentioned drug use and sexual high-jinxs, it'll probably win him more votes here in CA. Remember, we're the odd-ball of the 50 states.

Here's his most recent (current issue, I think?) interview with Playboy:
PLAYBOY: What about other drugs; have you done them?
SCHWARZENEGGER: Never in my entire life. When I came to America, someone gave me a drug like speed. He told me it would make me sharper and I'd lose weight. But I lost muscle tone. It was like having a hard-on that's not hard, that is half limp. I don't like that. I like to feel fully pumped. I threw the pills away. Nor has anyone so much as smoked a joint when I was there. Or sniffed coke. Or taken any drugs. In Hollywood, I have never seen any drugs on the set or anywhere. It could be because people know me well enough to know that I don't want anything like that. I'm around actors all the time -- and I've worked with them in Mexico, on jungle locations where you'd think it might happen just to pass the time -- and I've never seen it.

Oooops.
He's a liar.

Here's the main article link, so you can see that this IS recent:

Drudge is already pointing out the major discrepancy.

I've read that article a while ago when it was linked from some forum. Personally, I don't think it's harmful. Bill didn't inhale, remember? It suggests that Davis considers Arnauld is his major threat. The California voter is an odd creature anyway. I suspect the conservative mountain states will vote for him b/c he's (1) Republican and (2) they're sick of Davis.
Best thing right now is for the Democrats to implode themselves with Bustamente running against Davis and all the other candidates taking from Davis vote. Divide et impera.

If anyone has seen the movie he was in documenting his bodybuilding career (Pumping Iron?), after a competition he is lying on a couch smoking a joint. Not that that would matter to California voters, but he has at least smoked pot before. If anything it would probably help him gain more young voters.
