(Torn between here and "rifle country" for the posting. But I figure "snap caps" qualify as accessory.)

Does anybody make these? Or can the Mosin Nagant be dry-fired without harm?

probably ok to dry fire,but I've made up dummy rounds with a gob of hot glue in place of the primer,cut level with the case head.the hot glue is semi-hard.I haven't had to replace any of the glue yet. jwr

I would say no 100 year old rifle is safe to dry-fire. Metal fatigue is bound to set in, if it hasn't already.

And yes, A-Zoom does make snap-caps for it, but they are out-of-stock at Midway at least.
