where can i find the Tennessee laws on carrying a knife. i've searched google, but can't find anything. The knife i want to carry is roughly 10 inches i think. can't find a ruler. :D do you think this would be legal? if not then i've got a smaller one :D.

Search for "knife" or "knives".

Go here: http://home.netcom.com/~brlevine/sta-law.htm

Scroll down and click the link for Tennessee.

It looks like anything over 4" is considered a weapon.

No point in carrying one then.

You've not been paying attention then, Grasshopper. A 3-4" fixed blade knife is very useful. A 10" boat anchor isn't.
