IMO, linking gun & drug prohibition won't play well with most centrists, it's best to take a different approach.

Frankly, if you look at the political spectrum on this board, I'm probably a centrist. Linking guns to drugs in the way the crack cartoon did will work. Saying that gun violence will disappear just as drug abuse has disappeared is a good argument and an excellent point.

However the "legalize everything and let it self-regulate" mantra the libertarian community uses with regards to drugs (and everything else) sounds just as silly as ever to most people.
