A friend just got one and was wanting to know about loading for it. He got the rifle that ejects out the bottom and was thinking about loading for it as the commercial is supposed to have a short shelf life.

G&A mag had article on reloading the 5.7x28 round.
Month or 2 ago.
Might try their website.
I think they used Unique and H110.

Might try over at fivesevenforum.com they have a bunch of decent info on reloading. I don't have a rifle just a pistol and a Contender G2 in 5.7. For the pistol the brass shoulder will move about +.050" on firing, this is normal. You will have to be able to have a die that will set this back. Some of the early RCBS dies would not go down far enough and needed some cut off the die. You can use the pistol barrel and calibers to check shoulder position against a factory round.
IIRC the G&A article was not very good. It was roundly smacked down over on the fivesevenforum.
Get your shoulder position down and the trim to length good thats all it takes really. Stay away from funky heavy loads and have fun.
If you can get Ramshot powders they have some good factory loading data on their site.
They used True Blue.:)

You can get load data at www.ramshot.com
Ramshot True Blue is from Belgium as well and Ramshot claims it is the powder used for FNH's 5.7mm factory loads.;)
