DIY pocket mag holder

I typically carry an extra magazine for my EDC in my back left pocket. For the past year I had been using a home brew duct tape carrier to keep the magazine upright & free of pocket trash - it had worked fine but it was starting to get a bit ragged. I thought I might take a stab at doing something a bit classier so I picked up some cheap kydex from knifekits.com. A little time with a heat gun & a dab of devcon's plastic weld yielded the following:

This is the second go. On the first attempt I did a two mag holder. It worked & fit fine, but was a bit heavy for the back pocket with two hi-cap 9mm magazines so I put a belt clip on it for OWB use.

I'm thinking of doing a double mag pocket holder for the PF-9 (it's a 7 round single stack) & maybe for a pair of 1911 single stack .45 mags...
