[Mossberg535]

I just got a 12 ga 535 a few days ago and so far Im loving it. Ive had a few 500s and loved the reliability with them, so Im hoping for a similar experience with the 535.

Without getting into what gun is better than what...can some MB535 owners give some info about what you like and dislike about the gun ?

I own a 535 camo . Mossberg is a hunters gun . Sort of like the old 350 Chevy . Has the power & reliability.To get the job done.

i got a waterfowl one she is a blast I got about 650 rounds through her and I love it There is not a lot of kick to them with I like I even use it for some trap and It works great b/c of how light it is

I have the turkey/deer combo. I love Mossbergs, great guns.

You guys have any idea if there is a precision fit Limbsaver that will fit the 535 ?

Awesome shotgun, I just bought a triple combo with the cantilver deer, turkey, and waterfowl barrels, superlight compared to my 870. now my number 1 scattergun

I got the deer/turkey combo in camo. Really liked the fact that it is light and with the camo finish I didn't have to worry about it getting wet when it rained this spring. I put a slip-on Limbsaver pad and that really tamed 3 1/2" turkey loads I was shooting.

Which size slip on did you use ? And did you use it over the factory pad ?

I have a medium slip on pad. I wanted to get one that is fit for the stock but Limbsaver doesn't have one for the 535. I took off the other pad before putting this one on. I've actually never fired the gun without the Limbsaver pad. If anyone knows of a pad that fits I'd be intersted in knowing which one because I'm a believer that they help tremendously. I sighted in the gun for turkey this spring by going through about a box of 3 1/2" and 3" shells. First time hunting turkey so wanted to make sure that I had enough range if I couldn't call them in close and my shoulder wasn't sore at all after all the shooting.
