Hi Point Magazine Question.

I have been having problems with the last round jamming in my Hi Point 40 S&W. So I wrote to Hi Point about this and they quickly sent me me a new magazine today. But, Problem is, its a 10 rd mag & it wont fit my gun. My original mag is an8 rounder and they sent me a 10 rounder. It wont work. What to do?:confused:

And one of the reasons this mag wont fit.

The gun.:D See the Mag release on the bottom of the grip? Well it wont work with the ten rounder. Am I missing something here?:confused: :eek: :confused:

Can't you just swap out the baseplates?

Nope. They are made different. The 8rd mags bottom just slides onto the base of the mag. and the 10 rounder snaps on.

The mag they sent you is for the new, redesigned model (mkssupply.com), it appears that you have the old model. If you call, I'm sure they'll send you the right one, if you tell them what happened they'll probably send it for free.
