vest for ak-47 mags?

Im looking for a tac vest specifically mad to hold ak-47 mags. AK mags are awkward and tend to not do so well when double stacked in a standard mag pouch. I would consider mollie pouches also so I can reconfigure with other things. I don't need a real-deal explosive proff vest that withstand multiple nukes, but I would want to get a good-solidly built vest.

I would be using it mostly to lay rambo in my underwear when the misses is gone, but also for zombies and mutant squirrels.

Seriously, I want the vest to handle anything I can throw at it. be able to carry 6-10 mags, have a few pouches for other stuff like meds and a light and stuff, and a hydro pack is a plus.

the best gear made bar none is original soe gear. but if that is above your price range or you are wanting to go another route, i have and use for my ak mags the blackhawk commando chest rig, it has 4 mag pouches, with velcro and snap closures, which hold 8 ak mags, or 12 ar mags. and it has 2 large gp pouches one on either side of the mag pouches.

A quick net search for 'AK47 mag pouches' turns up 110,000 sites. Marstar, up here has East German and Yugoslavian AK mag pouches.

Depending on what you're willing to spend, FMCO vests would be worth at least checking out. They are made to order and mag pouches are for specific weapon systems, ak being one of them. You can double stack 8 ak mags in it, I've got one for my G3 and they are very sturdy and well put together. It comes with one pouch on the lower back but they offer alot of integrated accesories for it.
