Anyone know a good place online to get cheap, surplus USGI webgear? The Army/Navy stores around here think webgear is worth its weight in gold for some reason. I think I could use a belt, Y or H suspenders, a few mag pouches (Ar15 and 1911), etc so I can dress up like Skunkabilly and use & abuse it during 3-gun-type activities. (I'm a college kid, so buying straight out of Blackhawk's catalog is way out of the question)
http://www.stubbygear.com seems to have good prices, has anyone used them before?

Kharn,
I just retired from a 29 year Army career. Contact me offline, I think we can make a deal on some stuff I've got.

- - if Jeff can't help you with all you need.
U. S. Cavalry and Ranger Joe's should be easy to locate with a Google search. Only catalogue I have at hand is for Cheaper Than Dirt. You might want to phoe for a catalogue of your own at 800-421-8047, or their website is (predictably ;)) www.cheaperthandirt.com
They seem to have a full line of web and Alice gear. Some of the items are "GI Style" or "By military contractor," but if they represent it as genuine military, it is, in my experience.
Hope you find what you're seeking.
Best,
Johnny

I have been stung on good price for "Genuine Military", probably was military but wasn't ours. Wasn't a good price.
Sam, I learned from that.
