Where is the ser. # located on this shotgun. The only number i can find is on the underside of the gun between the forestock and the loading port. Its just four numbers (2425).

Hey Bockshot. That is the correct place for the serial #. If you want to date it, call Browning Service Support at 1-800-333-3504. They have helped me find the year of manufacture for several Sweet 16's.
