For those of you that are experiencing too coarse a grind of corn cob media from the normal pet store places, here's a link to a fine grind.

This stuff pours out of my .223 cases without any problems.

They also sell larger and smaller sacks.

How fine is it? I bought a bag of Hartz corn cob at WalMart, and it was much coarser than, say, Grape Nuts cereal. It was so coarse I had to throw the bag away. It wouldn't even move in my tumbler, it just sat there.

I bought some 14/20 from Grainger (http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/items/6YY32) and it is pretty fine, and flows out of .223 cases just fine, but they also have a finer 20/40 grit (http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/items/6YY33).

They are 50 Lb bags. We have a Grainger right around the corner from work. They will not charge shipping even if they order it if you pick it up at the store.

rondog hate you threw away the cob from wally world I use it all the time in my Frankford Arsenal vib tumbler,it doesn't look like it moves but it sure cleans the heck out of my brass. I only load 30 Cal. and straight wall pistol cases so I don't have the problems with media stuck in the case maybe one or two on occasion but for $4.50 a bag I'm more than happy to pick a few out. The fine stuff from granger will work great for .223 cases though.

Actually, I think it's still in the trash can out front, maybe I should rescue it.....
