124gr +P+ 9mm Hydrashock JHPs - Any idea how these compare to Speer Gold Dots, Remington Golden Sabers, etc.?

I used to carry this ammo when I carried a 9m.m. on duty. It was then the official issue ammo of the I&NS and the BORDER PATROL.
I never heard a single complaint on this ammo and it was used in many gunfights.
I do not know if it is the best ammo, but it will work well.
With a modern bullet, just about any +P+ load will be suffiencent for self defence.

Not to start a caliber war, but I always smile when I see a "9mm +p+" reference.
I want to pass them a note saying, "use a caliber that starts with a 4 and you won't have to worry about the +p+." :neener:
I don't think they compare very well to a .45 ACP, Speer Gold Dots, Remington Golden Sabers, or any other brand you choose.

My take on 9mm +p+ is that it's closer to the 9mm's nominal velocity. Maybe it would be more accurate if the run of the mill American target ammo was called 9mm -p- ? :)
