If you mean choke then yeah. They can be.

No damage will result, but better results may or may not come from a more open choke.

Each shotgun is a law unto itself. Try some different "Rifled" slugs and Brenekkes if it's a smoothbore, sabots if it's rifled. Buy lots of the best grouping.

Thanks. I found the slugs mixed up with some 00 buck and just checking to make sure they were safe. No hunting, strictly for home defense.
