This little gun has a lot of history and I consider it an heirloom. It was my friend's mom's gun after her Chief of Police husband died many years ago. Vintage 1952.
I rescued it from almost being thrown in the bay.
Now we're in a financial crisis and she wants to sell it. I told her I'd sell a couple of my guns first before that one, and she said "yeah, but those are YOUR guns".

Tell her to give it to you in trade for one of the ones that you wanted to sell and let her sell the one you gave her.

If she wants to sell it, why don't you buy it? Sorta keep it in the family, so to speak.
Or give her three bills as a "loan" and hold the gun for security on the loan forever & ever???
Guess I'm not understanding all this exactly.

I'm not following this at all. Can you take another shot at explaining who's got the gun, who's selling and why, and then maybe we can figure out some options.
