That was one very patient deer. I wish the ones I shoot at were as understanding! They generally allow only the one miss....

Bad shot, buck fever, or failure to zero scope after arriving at your hunting grounds?

That second one with the rabbit isn't anywhere near as bad. He just shot a foot or two high. That first one could have compensated and dropped the dear.

Man, I'm not a hunter, but I could have dropped either of those. I can at least shoot, for cryin' out loud. I wonder how many "deer hunters" are out there every year that couldn't hit their own truck at 100 yards.....

Gaiudo, oh lawdie, that may be the funniest thing I've ever seen! The first video posted is old old news, but I hadn't seen that one with the poor little bunny wabbit - what gun was that guy shooting, than can stir up a good 20 pounds of dust! Must have been one of the .300 maggie city types who let the guys at Academy Sports "sight in" (bore sight) their rifle for them.

Sight In . . .

Those being said, thank God they didn't hit it . . . Lord only knows how badly they might have hurt themselves eviscerating the carcass. Some people have either no: a) pride b) ability c) sense of embarrassment d) friends.
