A 37-year-old Carrickfergus man has appeared at Belfast Magistrates Court charged with possessing eleven bullets.

But they aren't even investigating burglaries... and many politicos over there have been widely quoted as saying that they should not be putting folks in jail for first-time burglaries, either.

Glad they're going after the dangerous ones...

Hey...If I went over there with a "Elvis Pez dispenser" think they would charge me for having something that cycles a projectile?:scrutiny:

Well, I guess we know if you run out of resources in life, you know what profession to turn to (burglury):scrutiny:

Where is this world going? :banghead:

I guess it's the same as here in Western Australia -- you can not possess ammunition for which you do not have a corresponding licensed firearm.

For example, I found a box of shotgun shells up in the top of my wardrobe a few weeks back. I took them to the gun club and gave them to the shotgunners quick-smart -- because my shotgun had been confiscated and destroyed during the "gun buyback" (it was a pump action = prohibited). Not having a shotgun on my licence now makes it a criminal offence (with possible jail time) for me to possess that ammo.

Rarely does a day pass when I fail to feel grateful to our forefathers for having rebelled against the English and founded a republic.

Frankly, I think we should have saved the American lives and let Germany have its way with England: it would have been a happier country as a Nazi subject state.
