I am going to be doing some advanced CQB training shortly (assault rifle and pistol) and the issue holsters are somewhat lacking in features, the quick release is actually slow release!
I need a holster that I can train with and that will stand up to 6 months in the sandbox
prefer one fitted to the sig P226, but not a show stopper if it isnt
one with molle patches so I can attach a flashbang pouch or field dressing pouch would be good
cheers in advance guys

I really like the Tactical Tailor stuff:
I went with the modular holster and modular leg rig which gives you the molle patches:

Great quality, good company to deal with. This gear is the real deal (most of their customers are military). They are right near Ft. Lewis, south of Seattle in Washington state, USA, if you ever get out that way.

I second the tactical tailor suggestion. Make great gear and its very durable. I buy all my tac gear from them.

Check out Safariland, such as this one.

Very secure and quite fast to draw. Attaching stuff to the thigh straps may work if needed.
