From the looks of it, Ill have enough "stuff" to reconfigure my sling needs if I would change guns. What are the opinions of blue force gear?

I use a couple Vickers slings and I love them. The quick adjust is a very handy. I doubt that you can wrong with Blue Force at all.

I've got a BFG single point sling, and a few of their Vickers quick adjust slings. I think they are well made (good materials, good stitching).
I can't comment on the set up you are looking at, as I've never tried it, but the company puts out some good stuff.

I carried that exact sling for awhile in Iraq (used with an M16A4). I wasn't a huge fan because the pinch clips never held securely. The best sling I've ever used was the Spec-Ops Mamba. I loved the fact that it uses tubular webbing, which meant the edges were rounded and didn't saw into your neck after 3 hours. Reguarding durability, the Mamba lasted an entire enlistment and was used in every exercise and deployment, save the first month in Iraq (when I was using the BFG Contractor). Just one devildog's opinion.
