Heavy duty tripod

I'm trying to track down something like a machine gun tripod, but lighter, cheaper, and doesn't have the traversing and elevation mechanisms. Just three legs that converge together and maybe something to place a Caldwell rest on top of.

Something good to shoot a 40 lbs .50 in the sitting position is what I have in mind.

Any ideas?
