What's the scoop on 9mm Tokarev pistols?

Since seeing EAA's M88 ads I've had a desire for a (full sized) 9mm Tokarev pistol. I have no experience with Tokarev pistols, so I'd appreciate any info/suggestions that you'll could provide about them, especially the 9mm ones.

Specifically, I'd appreciate any recommendations on which specific make/model to buy. I've come across a few stainless(?) Norinco L213 pistols on the internet that look good, what's the word on these? How are they in terms of durability, accuracy, ect.?

Also, how difficult is finding parts/springs/mags for these pistols?

If I buy one it'll just be a range queen/plinker, for shooting standard pressure FMJ ammo.

Thanks.

If you decide to buy one, then buy all the spare magazines and springs you think you might need.
EAA is pretty good at keeping spares on hand for the guns they sell, right up until the time they decide to discontinue them.
My guess it won't be very long in coming on these pistols.

The Yugoslavians tried to sell a bunch to Egypt and the Egyptians renigged on the deal because of quality and pricing issues.
The Yugoslavians tried to sell a bunch to India and they did the refusal thing all over again, mainly because Yugoslavia was falling apart at the time and wanted payment up front.
The Indians aren't dumb.

Most 9mm Tokarev pistols don't work anywhere near as well as the original 7.62X25 caliber.
You will be limited to FMJ ammo for complete, well, at least 80% reliability.
JHP, again doesn't work so hot in this design.
If you have a 9mm Tokarev that works with hollowpoints, count your blessings.
