I've kept one on hand since the first year the new models were out and shot old flat top ones too. My first, a stainless was stolen and my present one is blued with both cylinders . It balances well for me at least and I have done some of my best shooting with it. It's extremely accurate with long rifles and magnums which hit to the same sight setting.
Back before they started using hand rifles in metallic silhouette matchs I used it to win a hunter pistol match at a Dallas range and even shot shot low master/high expert at local NRA short course matches with it. It has killed a truck load of small game and varmints.
I was so taken with it that I had a similar .45 convertible built on a blackhawk. It shot very well but the balance wasnt the same and I was disgusted with the gunsmith who did it and eventually traded it off
