Police say cows are marijuana growers

TICONDEROGA, N.Y. - The cow pies in a farm field in northern New York could be called "pot" pies.

Police in a town near Albany have removed hundreds of marijuana plants that they say grow from seeds spread by grazing cows.

The police chief tells the Plattsburgh Press Republican that nobody has been intentionally planting the seeds - not anymore, at least.

He says the landowner requests the pot plants be removed so young people can't have access to them.

The plants will be dried, weighed and eventually destroyed.

Could it be civil disobedience? I have often wondered what would happen to the war on drugs if pot smokers took all thier seed and scattered them everywhere. Think of the logistical nightmare of removing marijuana plants from city gardens, parks, fence rows, etc. Maybe someone has started?

One of the biggest crops in Nebraska years ago was hemp. You should see all the wild stuff growing there! City smokers used to come out and just about die when they realized what they were seeing! :D
