Glock holsterless belt clip?

So, I'm seriously considering a G30 here soon, and recently saw the screw on holsterless belt clip online. I'm wondering if other people use them and like them, and how they carry their gun when they do.

In particular, I don't like the idea of NOT having a round up the pipe, but yet without some quality leather to protect the trigger carrying the gun ready to fire is a no go for me.

So what do you do? Roll with the belt clip and rack Israeli style?
Rock the cocked and not so locked method? :cuss:
Or screw it and get some leather?

Thanks for your input!

In my opinion it would be dangerous to not have a holster of some type to cover the trigger. I never carry my G30 without one. There are too many things that can snag a trigger in your clothing or pocket.

bad idea. cover the trigger guard completely at all times.

there are too many good IWB and pocket holsters IMO that work just fine.

I use a clip-draw on my Glock 30,26,and 23. I do however use either a safety block or not keep one in the tube. I do it mainly when I am getting in and out of the vehicle a lot.

Hey Ursus,

I'd advise against a clip style carry mode. Despite the safety factors, you'll find you'll be getting oil on your clothes.

Take a hard look at a Bianchi Model 100 IWB clip style holster. I find it has a nice firm retention, and the gun comes out PDQ when needed.

Best of luck,
