Thanks again. :)
I had been pondering this a little bit based on reading. I was thinking it might be fun to try it with little older tech, an M1 Carbine, GI 1911, and period pump gun. Not in a snoot sense like I've seen posted on this board before, just because those are the sort of guns I prefer to shoot. Actually, just the carbine. Never shot any sort of 1911, and that shotgun you were using looks like fun, but figure I might match everything up. At any rate, I think the long shots with said gear would be difficult enough to take the fun out and a 400yd shot...well, that's a little out of the realm, I think.

I've shot local matches with an M1 Garand before. Bring what you want and have fun. Most local matches are within 100, maybe 200 yards max for rifle anyway.

Oh, well then. I'll have to start asking around to see if they've started up anything a little more local to me. It's a long drive to the one I know of that does 3-gun regularly. Still, that sure looks fun. May need to take a road trip just to check it out.

I must know, what song is that on the video? Very good choice for very good shooting.

Is the info on your helmet cam setup on your site as well?

That was very cool. Thanks for sharing. I'd love to shoot a 3 gun, but I've never heard of one in my area.
MattJ2, I've heard that some SASS clubs do a WildBunch 3 gun using 1911's, OldPumps and lever guns. Maybe that would be close to what you are looking.

Might be indeed. I'll have to look out for that.

This is just a local monthly match. I actually won tactical division, but came in second overall-- the open division shooter who won beat the best tactical shooter on the shotgun stage by 20 seconds (40 vs 60 seconds). The results are here http://www.coloradomultigun.com/local/WC3G-2008.07.html

VARifleman,

The track is "Bloodsuckers" from Die Krupps - Rings of Steel.

USMC88-93,

It's a VIO POV.1

My local club does a WW2 match every year, don't have to shoot the older stuff but it is encouraged.

Zak,

Great stuff as usual.

Looks good. It threw me for a second that you switched from a "Limited" pistol to an "Open" rifle- but then I realized it wasn't USPSA 3 gun. We have a couple of GM shooters in my club that will embarass anybody this side of Jerry Miculek, so I feel your pain about losing by 20 seconds. That is why I stick to Limited.:D

I almost always shoot in Tactical Division, and that's a Tactical Division rifle.

I just want to see it set to Sonny & Cher's "I Got You, Babe", rather than heavy metal.
