I inherited these guns; does anyone know what the revolver is? There are no markings on it. The Lugar says 1916 in the top. Any idea what the value is?

Does the revolver have any markings at all? Manufacterer's name?
I cant tell by the photo what it may be.

Your revolver appears to be a Spanish copy of a Smith & Wesson M&P, although it's hard to say from the photo. If so, value is $100-$175. Better photos would help.

Your Luger is a 1916 P-08. I recommend you visit the Luger Forum (http://www.lugerforum.com/) to learn more. You will need to register. World class experts there. Take and post high quality photos of details such as the inscriptions. Imperial Lugers are rather neat because the usually have the regiment stamping on the front strap, letting you know to what unit they were issued. If all numbers are matching, (and there are quite a few!) your Luger would start at about $800 in value, perhaps a bit more. Depending on finish remaining, specifically the strawing, grip quaility, and specifics of issue, the value could be up in the thousands. Some Lugers go for much much more, but those are scarce as turtle teeth. An expert, hands on appraisal is key.

I can't help with the luger, but the revolver looks just like my Colt police positive spl, either .38spl, Or .38S&W/colt new police.

I bought mine about 6 years ago for $89.00.

The ones chambered in .38S&W are fun to shoot due to almost 0 recoil, but the only loads I have found for it are 158gr lrn (lead round nose), which is an old F.B.I. load, and ammo is not as cheap as it should be.

I took Xav's hint and did some clicking: Looks like it might be an 8mm Zulaica Arizmend, aka '92 Spaniard. The hammer looks just a wee bit different, but generally (sans lanyard) look similar. Can't get a real good look at the emblem on the grips in either pic, though.

If not, and if your clicker finger's up to it, go to the link below and start clicking. Maybe you'll find an even better match:

Look at the ejector rod. That's not a PPS.

Here are some more pictures.
The revolver does not have any writing only a marking on the grip. see photos.

The lugar looks to be in real good condition and it looks like the numbers all match from what I can see.

MrBorland was very close. The close up of the grips helped:

The monogram on the grip is for Orbea Hermanos of Eibar, Spain.
