Choke Q's

I have a strange question. I was discussing how to make my Remington 1100 cycle light loads with my gunsmith, and he suggested trying a full choke to see if it would cycle the lighter loads(3 1/4 dram). Right now the action will open about an inch, enough to reset the trigger, but not eject the shell. Do any of you have a opinion as to whether a full choke would help?

The shotgun is a Remington 1100 w/ 21" cylinder bore RS RC barrel.

Thanks,
Andrew Matheny

Andrew, it will help a tiny bit but not enough to get you over the hump. Pressure stays higher a milisecond longer with the full choke than it does with a cylinder choke.
