I've never shot a 175 lead, but for :
170 Lead with WST Start 4.0gr
170 Lead with HS-6 Start 7.0gr
180 Lead with 800-X Start 7.6gr (dirty load at lower pressures)

Thanks, Shoney. I'm planning on using Unique, and starting 20% lower than their published starting load, and working up slowly until it cycles reliably. If I can get something that works well, I'll make it known to those interested.

Would be great if someone would start a thread and keep a running log of all loads and chrony figures, etc. I have found VV340 (or is it 350) is a little dirty and smokes in the 40S&W. But not quite as bad as Power Pistol, both made with a 180gr LSWC making about 950 fps in a 5" Glock. Found both loads to be economical, VV is a little better than PPistol as the VV load is only 4.5 grains.
