ATN Red Dot Sights any good?

I set up my Beretta 92 for open to do the speed shooting league and put on my Ultra Dot (1"). Works OK, seems like I waste a lot of time hunting for the dot in the narrow tube.

I saw a ATN Digital Red Dot sight that looks very nice (projector type) on sale for about $143 at Midway. Problem is, I read some reviews on it at another site and they were terrible (and alike). Seems this sight goes goofy from recoil, resetting to minimum brightness and skipping to other garticule selctions (it has five selecatble sight patterns).

Anybody else try these? I can't find a website for ATN so I don't know what they are about or how their service is.

Any other recommendations for a sight like this for about $150? I only need a dot, 3moa to 5moa, super accurate not required since we shoot at 10 yard range. Just need something durable that works OK.
