If you live in Oklahoma are you allowed to own a handgun without any kind of paperwork? (Proof of ownership)
Say you had the guns and moved from one state to Oklahoma and you don't have any paperwork. Is this legal.
I know this may sound like a dumb question but I've heard that if you have a handgun that you have to have paperwork showing ownership.
Thanks

you don't need any paper work. you can buy and sell between private parties and don't even have to know each others name, though its always a good idea to know who your dealing with . saddlebum

Another "beneifit" from living in Okie Land. My most recent purchase of a G30 came with a handshake and $450 (like new, night sights). Though co-worker did know the person who knew the owner. He was also LEO.
