taurus is a love it hate gun,
sorta like the DESERT EAGLE.

WERE BACK FROM THE RANGE.

The PT1911 was great, it ate 4 different kinds of reloads I feed it, perfect. and all my 1911 mags worked in it also even the cheep 10 rounder ones i had.
I SHOT MY XD TAC 45 better but the Taurus will come around when i get a better feel for it.out of the 4 i took. my 1911-A1 (NOMINAL SHOOTS GREAT) was the worst of the bunch today. she may have been jealous all were in a 9in paper plate form 10yd to 25yd,
(BEST TO WORST TODAY WAS)
the XD, PT, BABY EAGLE, THEN THE SF 1911,
SHOT SOME 200gr SWC, 250gr RN, 230gr ball, 200 jacket swc. all guns did great.

\\IMO// the PT1911 would be a great gun even at full asking price. BUT with this said you can get an XD for about the samr price or less. (around here anyway)

2 didnt like it today but i had a talk with them and i think things are getting better, well see next rangs trip.

if not i guess ill have to put them in TIME OUT or something

Hope you like it, I sure like my PT1911. You might check your sights and make sure the set screws are tight. My front one loosened up enough to screw up the grouping until I figured out it was a little loose and I needed to tighten it down. It had locktite on it but it wasn't seated all the way down. It hasn't come loose again.

i think it was close to new, the followers in the mags had a faint scratch were they were loaded.:what:
i put 75 rounds down it and there is a good rub in both mags now, so IM guessing this gun was only fired maybe a mag full. (maybe).

took it out again today and it did as well as yesterday :D


one thing for sure . when i get done with it ,
it will be used ;)
