Are the older High Standard riot shotguns made by Winchester?Have one like this and used to have a latter one made more like a mossberg reciever.The older one seems better made.

My HS 10B was made by High Standard, no interchangeable parts with any Winchesters as far as I know.


The 10A and 10B were just ideas that were a few years ahead of their time. It was a good concept but the execution was just short of stellar.

High-Standard shotguns had nothing at all to do with either Winchester or Mossberg shotguns.

They were a completely independent design by the old H-S company.
