I bought 2 cases (10,000) of these a couple month's back, decided to load up 50 rounds and test them out. I had zero misfires, no malfunctions, and very tight velocity spreads on my ammo, 10-15 fps according to my chrono. These also seat easily, I'm impressed with them.:) With my Winchester primers, I was getting 30-40 fps spreads on my velocities. Once I use up the rest of my Winchester primers, I'm gonna roll with the Wolf.:D

In case your're wondering, I'm loading 40 S&W, 155 grain Ranier bullets.

I've been using Wolf primers for almost a year now. SP & LP. No issues.

Feed great in my Dillions and Loadmaster, Worked fine in my Hornady Projector until the indexing screwed up again -- finally gave up on it and got another Dillon, actually I was going to get another Loadmaster as mine's worked well for .40S&W, but everybody was out of 9mm stock so I got another XL650 from Brian Enos. No regrets.

I loaded 1000 large rifle with Wolf brand and was very pleased with the results. The next time I tried to buy them, all my suppliers were out of them. I had to buy CCI.

Wolf are the only primers I use. Both small and large pistol. Can't beat the price and very reliable.

Are they hard (Winchester) or soft (CCI and Federal). My press instructions say no CCI. I want to avoid a detonation. Thanks.

They are definitely softer than CCI, with CCI I've had a few re-strikes on my Taurus Mil-Pro to get them to ignite, I've had none with the Wolf.

Good results here with Wolf LRPs... I also have had great results with Magtech LPPs... actually better results than the other more well known brands. Go Figure.

I've used a few hundred SP, LP, and maybe 50 or 60 SR's, and they've all worked great. I wish I had bought 10x as many when I got 'em.

I do a lot of hand loading for the AR15, CCI military primers.
Do you think the Wolf are too soft to use with the free floating FP ?

Here in eastern Washington State, Wolf primers are $1.00 cheaper than my favorite primers which are CCI and Winchester. I'm don't like Federal primers, especially in my Glocks. For only a $1.00 savings, I will remain loyal to my CCI and Winchester primers.

Have you even tried them? They are gaining a real following these days, and not from the price: They are reportedly giving less of a velocity spread.

I like wolf primers too however they don't work so well with S&B brass. S&B is very tight compaired to other brass.

I gave up on S&B brass long ago because of their tight pockets.

I just loaded up my first 50 rounds of .45 acp using Wolf primers. It will be interesting to see how they compare to my standard load. There were no problems with priming the cases.

Hopefully I'll test them out after Thanksgiving.

Just send them to me. I like em. :D

Although if I try Wolf primers, I might change my mind. :)
